When an undercover policeman posing as a coolie is discovered, Dayal kills him and publicly offers a reward to identify the remaining undercover operative. In Chennai, Devaraj “Deva” runs a strict boarding house for workers, forbidding alcohol and smoking. He learns that his old friend Rajasekhar has died suddenly, supposedly from a heart attack. Deva suspects foul play and begins to investigate. Rajasekhar’s daughter, Preethi, keeps her distance from Deva, adding to the tension. During his investigation, Deva discovers that Rajasekhar had designed an electric cremation machine to dispose of animal remains but that Simon coerced him into modifying it to destroy human bodies and cover up murders. When Deva and Preethi are forced to bury a body, they realize that Dayal is actually still alive, revealing a tangled web of hidden identities and betrayals. Simon then confronts Deva with a video implicating Dayal in Rajasekhar’s death and threatens Deva. Meanwhile, Simon takes Preethi hostage, planning to harvest her heart.
