Son of Sardaar is a family-action comedy set in Punjab, revolving around the longstanding feud between two families, the Randhawas and the Brar clan. Sardar Jaswant Singh Randhawa (Ajay Devgn) is a brave and good-hearted young man who returns to his village, only to discover that his family has been embroiled in a bitter rivalry with Sardar Bhupinder Singh Brar (Sanjay Dutt) and his relatives for generations. Amidst this tension, Jaswant falls in love with Sardarni Mahek Brar (Sonakshi Sinha), which complicates matters further. The story unfolds with a mix of humor, romance, and action as Jaswant navigates family politics, village traditions, and violent confrontations, ultimately aiming to reconcile the families and bring peace, all while proving his bravery and loyalty.

Years after settling old family feuds in Punjab, Jassi Singh Randhawa lands in Scotland hoping to reunite with his estranged wife. What starts as a personal journey turns chaotic when he crosses paths with Rabia, a Pakistani wedding dancer with her own messy past. To help Rabia’s stepdaughter marry into a rigid, status-obsessed family, Jassi pretends to be her husband—and a decorated Indian Army officer—to win her father’s approval. Soon, Jassi finds himself entangled in a wild mix of mistaken identities, Sikh-Pakistani hijinks, mob conflict, a hostage crisis, and a marriage ceremony that spirals into full-blown cross-cultural madness. Packed with slapstick, Punjabi-Scottish chaos, and emotional twists, the film plays on mismatched expectations, identity confusion, and a generous dose of “leave-your-brains-at-home” comedy
